The Plot – Sweet Murder
The founder of the Worth Sweet Company is dead and you are invited to the family gathering to remember the 90-year-old entrepreneur at Worth Hall.
There will be a reading of the will and perhaps there might be something in it for you.
But when a mysterious letter arrives it seems Walter Worth may have been murdered and it's up to you to decide whodunit.
Meet his daughter, Flavia, her husband, Evan, and their daughter, Neva, who all expect to be the beneficiaries of Walter's substantial estate. After all, they are the only family Walter had after the disappearance of his son and heir, Leslie, and no one would expect Walter's much younger wife to inherit everything, would they?
Be prepared for surprises, twists and turns and a murder or two or three in our murder mystery weekend as we bring you into the world of the Worth family and friends.
The Itinerary
Friday 20th November 2026
From 3pm – Check into your accommodation, receive your welcome goody bag and prepare for a mysterious weekend. From 6pm our first suspect will be in place…
6.45pm – Detectives who are not staying at the hotel are to arrive and receive their welcome goody bags, again our first suspect will welcome you
7pm – It’s time to take a seat, as we ready for the first scene of the weekend – with a cocktail in hand (obviously!)
7.45pm – It’s time to eat! Scenes will be performed between courses, and suspects available to question throughout.
10.15pm – it’s time to retire! Suspects will move to different locations throughout the hotel, where you can question them further.
Saturday 21st November 2026
10am – it’s time to get our investigating hats on again, there’s a crime scene! Once you’ve searched for clues, you have some free time. Take a walk in the gardens, explore the local village or put your feet up with a cuppa!
2pm – Detectives, everyone needs a sweet treat to get their brains in gear – so it’s to the dining room for a scrumptious Afternoon Tea! Suspects will again be available for further questioning, the plot will thicken and more clues revealed…
7pm – it’s time to gather one final time, enjoy a tasty meal, and find out – ‘who dunnit?’

It’s time to leave Bagden Hall, but not after a delicious breakfast!
